So I was rereading Gunnerkrigg Court, and I got to the part where Annie and Jones are watching Smitty and Parley do their sword training. Jones mentioned that Parley is good at the Lichtenauer style.
Then later, when she is sparring with Robot, it’s implied that with the help of her power, her style is actually fast enough to be a match for him, despite his superior speed and lighter weapon.
Got me wondering, what kind of style is this anyway? So I thought I’d look into it. This is the video I found. Brutal, lightning-fast, no hesitation whatsoever, and fucking badass. Welp.
