I am now watching Future Shock, written by and starring Vivian Schilling, the ambitious young woman who brought us Soultaker. This movie is an anthology of short, crappy thrillers that are loosely tied together by Martin “Sweep the leg” Kove from The Karate Kid.
Toward the beginning, Vivian is in the car and the radio announces that Mayor McMillan’s daughter Natalie was in a tragic car accident. I couldn’t stop laughing! A Soultaker fanwink? Were there any non-MSTies who watched Soultaker?
Anyway, there is no sign of an Estevez so far but Father Dude does make an appearance as a male stripper! That took my soul, right there.
