Don’t try to tell me you weren’t at least a little turned on during this part
Okay this is what I’ve put together from all the stuff on the Livestream.
I’m hoping the outlines of key features in reference pictures of bossbody!GLaDOS paired with the colored-steps for sketching and then inking should be of some help.
Enjoy, and I hope this helps everyone who wants to try and draw bossbody.
Disclaimer: I’m not an expert. I’m just an artist who’s figured out some things, and I wanted to show people what I’ve learned. There’s no right or wrong way, as long as we learn from our work. Also to be honest, there are features I haven’t nailed, and I freely admit it - the hinge between the two parts, and the sides of her head. But they don’t seem too terribly critical….
Aaaand the colored version. See black and white and scan here.
Thank you, industry, for making a game like this possible, somewhat successfull. Glados is my favorite villian, i love the voice acting, the writing, the story, the game mechanics. Thank you, valve.
uff, this is just so small. Click for a larger version.
and, mh. chell is a very strong character for me. its not fair to show her exhausted D: but… i… could not… help it… i would probably kneel in front of glados too. okay, i would shake and shiver and cry. and let her sign my bum or something.
We met that pretty internet-famous Wheatley cosplayer at Otakon????? Marina and I were co-fangirling over him oops
If anyone can identify him, that’d be lovely, actually.
Still one of the only Wheatley costumes I truly love
[Photoset: Two gifs of GLaDOS and Wheatley, held in a pincer, after she confronts you in Portal 2 as you try to escape through her chamber. She says, “Okay, look… We both said a lot of things that you’re going to regret.”]
All-time favorite line.
