Less silliness, but I have this moment permanently embedded in my brain- Catherine’s intensely hopeful-yet-unbelieving stare when she realizes what you’ve done.

Jailers’ Key Guns, 19th century (most)
One of the most odd objects we’ve ever seen these items are sometimes confused with spy gadgetry, but the truth is stranger. Jailers’ keys were apparently filled with gun powder to create a primitive gun that could be detonated if there was any trouble when opening a cell door. We found several original versions that back up this claim, dating from the 17th century and of various complexity.
Some pages from Heather Larkin’s wonderful comic adaptation of the Book of Atrus. If you’re not following along, you’re definitely missing out- she’s doing a fantastic job of adapting and building on the book’s source material.
You can find more of Heather’s work- Myst or otherwise- over on DeviantArt.
Oh excellent, I’ll have to follow this (and reread the book, it’s been too long)
A dedicated fan over on Myst Community has started producing and selling some replica Moiety daggers based off of the original Museum Replica props! They’re reasonably priced and look pretty damn close to the daggers I have (possibly even better, for that matter), so I thought I’d spread the word.
Go forth and obtain your own personal symbols of rebellion to stab into whatever you please! Preferably not people.
I might have to get one of these
I’ve pondered taking pictures of all of the books in the game, simply so that I can read them whenever I want. I randomly checked one book - 20 pages. Maybe. It’s a possibility.
Just a heads up that thephoenixprod on DeviantArt has done an amazing job cataloguing all of the Myst journals into easily perusable Flash books! He hasn’t done any of the MOUL journals yet (and I have no idea if he plans to), but either way it’s a pretty fantastic resource.
Oh wow those are cool.

Great, thanks. I always wanted a tub like this but now if I ever get one I won’t be able to purge that image of Rand Miller for long enough to enjoy it.
Adding Atrus into this photo to further solidify that image in your brain. THE ENDING HAS NOT YET BEEN WRITTEN, BABY
I just want this here again.

I hope my too loud laugh at that pick-up line didn’t startle any of my neighbors.
Ahyoheek is a strategic game played by the people of ancient D’ni. Players compete to collect three of one type of card- pen, page, or beetle.
Here’s the full set of Ahyoheek cards. I’m still waiting on Cyan’s legal department, but I’ve contacted a few people involved with Cyan who said they would give legal a nudge about them. RAWA himself complimented me on the deck, which was a really good morale boost (at a time when I really needed it- but I won’t bore you with my personal life.)
At any rate, if you’re interested, click here to see my Myst Online: URU Live forum post, where I explain quite a bit about how I made the cards using Illustrator and Photoshop.
Well these are just perfect in every way.
I think I want these.
